Paris ... Day One. Part One.

Don and I have had the good fortune to visit Paris many times ... for us it is like a little City getaway (clearly not a little city!).  We are comfortable here, we have done most every tourist attraction we know about.  So this trip was about getting away, refreshing, and being inspired.

We are walkers.  I hope you enjoy this journal of inspiration through my camera lens ... as we strolled the streets of Paris.  All photos are mine.

I will keep my words minimal ... and let you be inspired like I was!

Enjoy ...

A beautiful morning, and even though it was very hazy I love the view from the top of the Arc de Triomphe.

Flowers marking the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier under the Arc.

After the Arc ... we began our stroll down Ave. Kléber ...

Cornerstones ...

Yes, we stop a lot along the way ... time for a little refresher!

Back on the road ...

Even the Chestnuts wanted to be noticed!

Destination ... Eiffel Tower ...

Where we stopped for our picnic.  The blanket and glasses easily packed away in my bag ... and a little hunt for a bottle of bordeaux and a Parisian Mixte sandwich.  All is right in the World.

Hope you enjoyed part one of our first day ... and that you'll come along for more!

Making the World More Beautiful.  One Room at a Time.
