Bringing the Ocean In

This Ipswich, Massachusetts summer house came about quite by accident, when my clients found it, it was almost complete so they didn’t have the opportunity to pick their own finishes. We were able to give it personality and make it theirs through color and pattern. At only 1,500 square feet the layout and the abundance of windows overlooking Plum Island Sound makes it feel much larger. We chose to keep the colors soft with a very neutral base so as not to overcrowd the small space. We added vibrancy through beautiful pops of color in the fabrics and art.
