Woods & Greens in the Kitchen

As we envisioned the plan for this kitchen redesign we knew immediately that we wanted to highlight the house’s natural wood beams and floors while also incorporating the beauty of the backyard and adding modernity and freshness. The wood cabinets on the island framed by white cabinetry elsewhere brings the richness of the wood beams forward while the green tiled backsplash highlights the rich greenery out the window and plays off the gold and silver hardware. For the dining nook we wanted to keep with the greens and woods while adding a boldness of black with the chairs. This kitchen is a beautiful balance of warm wood and crisp white weaving in greens and metals to bring forward a vision that is relaxing, modern and utterly inviting.
